I'm Backkkkk Y'all.

Good Morning!

Just a quick post - I was out of town for work from Sunday morning until last night, so that is the reason for the lack of posts in the past two days! But I will be back on schedule tonight with a Wild Wednesday post so have no fear! I was in North Carolina visiting the factory of a really great  furniture company that we use and designers/store owners from around the country came... and I just have to say I love southern women. They are freaking awesome and hilarious. I will post pics from my trip tomorrow, as they don't exactly qualify as wild :)

Goshhh I Wish I Had A Dining Table...

I have a slight obsession with Kelly Wearstler's tabletop collection. Her table settings are so unique and creative... the best part is that you could mix and match any of her collections and they would all look awesome together - now that is a gift (a design-talent gift... but they would also makes fantastic gifts hehe)!

Unfortunately, it would cost thousands of dollars for me to purchase a complete table setting - you will see why when you see how much each plate costs :). This is not to say that I will never have these glorious plates, bowls and tea cups in my possession! But certainly not now :) I kind of don't even have a dining table in my apartment LOL.

But that is neither here nor there! I have a bunch of great pictures of Ms. Wearstler's ultra fab table top collection, as well as a few more reasonably priced pieces that look quite similar and may be in my life sooner.

Happy Friday!

The Pickfair Dinner Collection is my all time favorite... there is no way to find anything similar to this style... it is just stunning! Ah I can't handle it, let's keep going before I get too sad that I don't own these...

The Mulholland Dinner Collection is also really really glorious. Can you imagine hanging these plates on the wall also? Dreamyyyy.

Plates in action! They look fantastic all together.

"Can you pass my an orange? Mmmmm maybe in ten minutes I am too busy staring at these glorious place setting in front of me..."

If you are interested, you can purchase the collection here!

Back to reality! West Elm plates... but hey, not bad right? They remind me very much of the KW collections. Oh yeah - the prices are SLIGHTLY better ;)

If you are interested, you can purchase the collection here!
AH! One more beautiful pictures of my favorite plates on earth... so wonderful!

One Off The List...

I just had a gloriously successful trip to H&M because I found a freakinggg tulle skirt! I have been searching every where for the right one and I randomly popped into H&M and there were two left and one was in my size - cray cray. I had to grab one and I am so excited! Of course my boyfriend can't comprehend why I would be so happy to find such a thing, so I thought I would share with you guys. I will style my outfit differently than the picture below, but I just wanted an image of it and there is not one on the H&M website.

Ok magazine catch up time & a glass of red wine - good night!

African Antiques - Put A Little Flava In Your Home

While we were in NYC for the gift show, we went through the global section of the show and saw some great international vendors. We came across one African Antiques vendor called Kiondo who had some fantastic pieces. We checked out their website when we got back and I wanted to share some of the images from their inventory because they are gorgeous! Kiondo has a range of product, from textiles to statues to stools, all of which are extremely unique. Feel free to check out their website, although there is no pricing listed as you have to contact the company for prices and product availability.

What do you think of these pieces?

Victory!

I saw this on Pinterest a while ago and have been meaning to go get magnetic tape and finally did tonight so I wanted to show you guys. Now I can see all of my glorious colors in a neat and efficient way! So pumped. What do you guys think?
PS - do you like my spikey new Noir rings?
Goodnight :)

Wild Wednesdays: DVF's Tree House

Good Evening my lovessss! For those of you who read Architectural Digest, you probably guessed from my hint earlier today that Wild Wednesday would be about the lovely and talented Diane Von Furstenberg's incredible home, which was featured this month in the magazine. Her office and home are in the same building in New York City's Meatpacking district. She calls her home a tree house and you will see why in the images below. She MORE than qualifies for Wild Wednesdays because her style is completely unique, outrageous and creative all at the same time. I absolutely love the grass area on the roof of her building... how incredible it must be to sit up there in grass relaxing while the city buzzes below you.

Check out her casaaaa as well as my favorite picks from her line!
PS: How awesome is that tub??

Busy Bee...

Good Morningggg! Sorry for no posting last night... my co-worker and I went to the Urbanite February launch party as we just started advertising in the magazine. I will be back later tonight with a really great post, so stay tuned :)
PS: See below for a hint..

Have a lovely day!
