Wild Wednesday - Spot On
I am not sure why any and everything leopard makes me feel so happy inside... but it does. If worn the right way, leopard can become a timeless neutral that looks pretty fabulous on almost everyone. Love!
Wild Wednesday - The Devils In The Details
I think we can all agree that in good fashion and good design, it is the little details that can really knock a look out of the park. Details separate the pros and the newbies, as I have found the hard way from time to time! Details are the reason we gasp in lust when we see a pair of McQueen heels, or an outrageously detailed chandelier.
Honestly, I don't have the energy to be thorough enough to accessorize to a T every morning, but doesn't it make your day a little more fabulous when you do? Enjoy :)

Wild Wednesday - Crazy Denim
Have you guys seen some of the insane denim shorts that are trending right now? Some of them are just crazy, and others are cute but I am not 100% sure everyone on earth would want to see my ass (you will understand when you scroll down). From super distressed, to studded, to patterned.. it's all there! Anyway - what do you guys think? Has anyone tried this trend yet?
Wild Wednesday - Colors Colors Colors!
I still consider myself to be new to the design world, and there are a lot of well known designers that I don't know! So I like to tick down the Architectural Digest Top 100 list and check out some of the names I am not familiar with. I was looking at the portfolio of Drake Design Associates and immediately thought of Wild Wednesday! Not because their work is totally insane, but they certainly are not afraid to use color. I really like their designs and while I may not be able to live with this much color, it is so fun to look at :)
Wild Wednesday - JT Into Interiors?
Hi dolls (yes, I have been watching too much Kardashians while home alone). I can't believe it is already 11:20pm! I feel like I have been totally slacking on my posts this week. My better half has been in Copenhagen for work since Friday and he gets home tomorrow, so tonight I have been rushing around doing all of the things I should have done earlier in the week: cleaning up, doing dishes, folding wash and painting my nails. Oh and I went to Target and Michaels Ars & Crafts. AND I have on a face mask right now. If thats not multi-tasking then I don't know what is y'all! I am sure he won't notice if my nails look good or not but, you know, I can't have my nails looking a messss when my man gets home.
ANYWAY. Have you guys heard the Justin Timberlake is coming out with an online home decor line called HomeMint that he co-created with Estee Stanley? Is there anything that man doesn't do? Good lordddd. JT has worked with Stanley on all of his homes and when they were approched by BeachMint (the company behind ShoeMint, BeautyMint, etc.) they got on board to create a line together. Sign up for $10 a month and receive discounts on all products. Pretty cool, huh?
Check out some of the pics below and let me know what you think. If you ask meeeee I am feeling like the collection is a bit overpriced for what it is, probably because you can brag that JT created it so that makes it cooler. Or read the Q&A yourself here.

Wild Wednesday - Comic Art
Good evening lovely readers. I can't believe it is already Wednesday again! I have been so busy at work that time has just been flying by. Do you know anyone who is so into comics that they would use comic art as a focal point in their living space? Its pretty hardcore and wild... but also kinda cool. What do you think?
Wild Wednesdays - Tribal Beat
Hi lovesss. I have not had the greatest day on earth. I got a TechnoMarine watch a year ago that was so great and needless to say, not the cheapest watch on the market. A few weeks ago, the crown broke (without me realizing it right away) and I got it wet (it is allowed to be wet, but obviously not with the crown open) and didn't notice until I looked at it the next morning that anything was wrong. Well, by that time the damage had been done to the movement in the watch. Luckily, it was under warranty for two years... or so I thought. Come to find out, the warranty does not cover "external" damage, and they include a broken crown in "external", even though it has everything to do with the internal workings of the watch. Basically, I have a fairly new and expensive watch that I can do nothing with... besides pay to get it fixed, which will end up costing almost half of what the watch is worth, and I didn't even break it. AHHH. Sorry for the blabbing, clearly I need to vent. I am not happy.
But - what does make me happy is the tribal trend, in fashion and decor. So let's focus on something more upbeat, shall we?

Wild Wednesdays - Prints For Daysss
Good evening my fabulous readers! Sorry for the delay... I have had a busy evening of the gym, letting my puppy run free in the woods, tacos and a little decor sprucing (next post!). For this Wild Wednesday, I wanted to share a funky trend that is very hard to master: mixing multiple prints. Every designer has a different rule of thumb when it comes to mixing a multitude of prints, be it fabric, rugs, wallpaper, flooring, etc. The principal designer at our firm has always loved textiles and is really good at balancing more than one print. While I am still learning from her, it seems like having different prints in similar scale is a large part of keeping them from overpowering each other. Ok - too much design talk? Lets get to the pics, shall we? What is your rule of thumb for print mixing?

Gorgeous! Rug, napkins, runner and pillows are all different, but they make a damn good lookin' group.

Also a brave room, but it works out well. For me, I would change the bedding so it was not so matchy-matchy with the wallpaper, but for the most part this is a fabulous space.

How do you put two rugs next to each other that are totally different? It ain't easy... but keeping the color palette the same is a great place to start.
Wild Wednesdays - You be killin' em
I made my bf look at Adam Levine's home in Architectural Digest a few months ago and he LOVED the Philippe Starck AK lamp on Levine's bedside table. He asked how much they were and at $2,000, they aren't exactly in budget :) But they are still incredible and I will have one some time in the future!
Bang bang.
Bang bang.
