The design firm I work for is doing the living room of the Baltimore Showhouse this year. It looks absolutely amazing (I will post pics after it is open to the public). We used dark purple as an accent color and it really opened my eyes to how beautiful purple can be in a room; it gives a feminine touch but isn't as girlie as pink. I love purple inside the home. It gives a modern sort of edgy vibe but its also a warm inviting color as well. Love it!
The pictures you posted remind me of the inside of a Tory Burch store a little. haha <3 Every time I go in one I saw, I wish the inside of my house looked like this!
I tend to stay away from purple too, but these are pretty great, right? Maranda, I am obsessed with all TB stores... they are all so amazing! Glam but not overwhelmingly so. xoxo
A difficult colour to work with, but when done right it is amazing. The last room in the last image is truly beautiful.
It is so nice, isn't it? I would love to have a room big enough to accommodate that big, tufted coffee table. How fab!
